Our wind turbines are available in different sizes (from a small 1 kW, to commercial 20 kW, and beyond) to meet the electrical generation needs for your home, factory or offices.
By capturing solar energy using photovoltaic (PV) components, Pre-Plan Energy is able to offer green electricity generation for small to large applications. Photovoltaic (PV) panels are guaranteed to operate for at least 20 years, offering a great return on your investment.
Pre-Plan Energy can now supply thin-film PV panels, which the PV generating film is integrated into the actual glass panels. These glass panels can be vertically mounted, and are ideal for buildings and homes.
Building-Integrated Photovoltaics, or BIPV, are glass panels that have PV generation capabilities built-into them.
This includes both the use of traditional solar cells encapsulated within a glass panel, as well as the latest “Thin-Film” PV technology. Unlike traditional PV panels that are required to be angled directly at the sun, “Thin-Film” glass can be vertically mounted, making it ideal for building exteriors and facades. Both BIPV glass panels allow a certain amount of sunlight to enter through them, which means these panels to be considered for traditional roof-light and window openings, with the added benefit of being able to generate “green” energy.
Traditional geysers can account for up to 50% of a home’s energy bill. Pre-Plan Energy has signed up with a local manufacturer and supplier of SABS approved solar geysers, to be able to offer our customers very competitive solar water heating solutions.
In addition to traditional solar geysers, we now also offer solar geyser conversions, allowing our customers to retain their existing tanks, and convert to solar heating to reduce their energy consumption, and therefore experience real savings every month.
By using specialised noble metal coatings on the glass for building envelopes and cladding, it is possible to reduce the amount of energy required to heat and cool a commercial building by up to 50%. This is achieved by repelling the sun’s rays in the daytime, while retaining building heat during the night. Pre-Plan have been at the forefront of design and implementation on these solutions for over 20 years, with numerous patents and design awards to their name.
As an authorised integrator with South Africa’s leading battery manufacturer, Pre-Plan Energy are able to offer complete integrated battery solutions, to ensure constant electrical supply.
Storing surplus electricity being generated from wind and solar components in a battery pack ensures electricity on demand regardless of the wind and solar conditions at any given time. Our supplier also has ISO accreditation for controlled battery recycling, ensuring that even battery components can be considered “green”.
